The County is beginning the process to update its Housing Element in accordance with state law. The current Housing element was adopted on August 3, 2011, as part of the comprehensive General. Because the last amendment to the Housing Element is only a year old, County staff anticipates only minor changes will be necessary to meet new Regional Housing Needs Assessment goals and to update information related to the latest census. Staff will be assisted by Project Design Consultants and Keyser Marston Associates.
Public Participation
The County encourages and welcomes public comments regarding any proposed changes to the current Housing Element.
