Minimum Construction Specifications and Plot Plan Templates

Many of the forms listed below are Adobe Acrobat PDF documents and require the Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing. The Adobe Acrobat Reader can be downloaded for free from Adobe at ADOBE.COM/ACROBAT.

Some of the form packages listed below are in ZIP file format, an industry standard for archiving e-files. If you are not using Microsoft Windows XP, you will have to use ZIP software such as WinZip to open the package. WinZip is available at WINZIP.COM.

Permit applications for all permit types are not available electronically. Paper copies are available at the Building Division office. Directions to the Building Division office are available HERE.

Additionally, information about contractors licensed in California is available online at the California State License Board web site at CSLB.CA.GOV.

The $45 screening fee charged by the Land Development counter is applicable for most permit types.

Effective March 31, 2013, the Planning and Development Services, Building Division Building Permits Issued and Newly Created Records reports are available in Microsoft Excel format on the Accela Citizen Access portion of the County’s web site.

With the deployment of the ability for our customers to run the Building Permits Issued and Newly Created Records reports using detailed parameters, publication of the pre-run, weekly ‘canned’ reports ceased on March 31, 2013. More information is available at the Accela Updates web page.
