Energy saving programs, bill payment assistance, and rebates are available through SDG&E and your local water authority.  Landlords, your rental property may qualify for valuable home improvements at no cost to you or your tenant if your tenant qualifies according to the SDG&E Energy Team Guidelines.

Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) - The purpose of this program is to provide assistance to eligible households to meet the costs of home energy and to attain better energy self-sufficiency by making payments to energy suppliers.  For details, please visit the LIHEAP website or SDG&E.

SDG&E offers rebates and tips on high-efficiency appliances and fixtures for single family homes and multi-family homes.  On the SDG&E website you can also find information about what appliances you can replace and be eligible for a rebate and what kind of improvements qualify for a rebate.

Water Authorities offer tips on how to conserve water. Water Authorities also offer rebates for water-efficient purchases such as high efficiency washers, toilets and upgrading irrigation systems.

Special programs administered by The Energy Team can provide valuable home improvements at no cost to you.  An Energy Specialist will evaluate your property and income to determine if you qualify.
